The most effective method for smoke exhausting is employing mechanical fire ventilation (e.g. fire dampers). In this scope, Mercor offers: fire dampers and valves, smoke exhaust, air supply and jet fans, overpressure smoke prevention systems for vertical escape routes, jet fan systems and power supply and control units.

The use of fire protection allows building structures to reach the appropriate fire resistance classes, which means that they maintain the designed carrying capacity during fire, within the time span specified in applicable regulations.
