mcr Monsun axial fans are used in fire ventilation systems for smoke exhaust and air supply.

Smoke exhaust fans are used for exhausting hot air, smoke and gases occurring in rooms during fire. They facilitate the process of evacuating humans from fire zone, as well as firefighting operations carried out by fire brigades. They also protect the building structure and its equipment from the effect of high temperature, and prevent spreading of fire to rooms under fire.

The devices are adapted for outdoor as well as indoor operation, in vertical and horizontal position.

The fans may also be used in the so-called "smoke tank" - they may operate in the fire zone.
